7-Day Privacy Dashboard History Now on Android 15

Google is bringing a 7-day history feature to the Privacy dashboard for Android 15 devices. This enhancement, initially introduced in Android 16 Developer Preview 1, arrives via the November 2024 Google Play system update.

Users can access this feature by navigating to Settings > Security & privacy > Privacy dashboard. A new "Show 7 days" option appears in the overflow menu, providing a longer timeline for location, camera, and microphone usage.

This update demonstrates Google's ability to enhance Android features through Play system updates, eliminating the need for full OS releases. With Android 15, the Privacy dashboard was also moved to the main Security & privacy page, alongside Privacy controls and Private space. This update coincides with other Android developments, such as the Android 15 QPR1 rollout for Pixel devices and the One UI 7.0 release. OnePlus devices are also receiving Android 15 updates, including the OnePlus 11 and the OnePlus Pad.
