Apple continues its 18-year tradition of supporting the Global Fund to fight HIV, tuberculosis, and malaria this World AIDS Day.

From November 29th to December 8th, Apple will donate $5 to the Global Fund for every purchase made with Apple Pay on apple.com, the Apple Store app, or at an Apple Store. This initiative supports critical health programs worldwide.

The Global Fund, established in 2002, is a partnership dedicated to combating these diseases and strengthening health systems. It has contributed to saving 65 million lives since its inception.

Apple's long-standing support includes the creation of (PRODUCT)RED Apple devices, with a portion of profits going to the Global Fund. This partnership has generated $250 million for HIV/AIDS programs since 2006. For more information on related initiatives, check out Fintech Funding, Latin America's Growth, and Regulatory Scrutiny.

Apple typically marks World AIDS Day by turning Apple Store logos red on December 1st. This year's donation drive expands Apple's ongoing commitment to global health. To learn more about other tech companies' social impact efforts, see Bluesky's Decentralized Vision for Account Verification.
