Apple Wallet Adds Support for Digital IDs in Puerto Rico
Apple Wallet now supports digital IDs and driver's licenses from Puerto Rico, bringing the total number of participating U.S. states and territories to 10. This feature allows iPhone and Apple Watch users to store and access their identification digitally.
Supported Locations
Users with IDs from the following states and territories can add their digital identification to Apple Wallet:
- Arizona
- California
- Colorado
- Georgia
- Hawaii
- Iowa
- Maryland
- New Mexico
- Ohio
- Puerto Rico

Requirements for Adding a Digital ID
To add a digital ID or driver's license to Apple Wallet, users must meet the following requirements:
- iPhone 8 or later, or Apple Watch Series 4 or later, running the latest software.
- Face ID or Touch ID enabled.
- Apple account with two-factor authentication.
- ID or license from a participating state or territory.
- Device region set to the United States.
