How to flash/install the firmware on your Kobo tablet
If you downloaded the firmware on your Kobo Arc tablet directly, make sure you copy the zip file to the root (in /sdcard/ and not in any folder/directory) of your tablet’s internal storage before you proceed to the installation steps below. You also need to copy the update to the internal storage if it was downloaded on your Windows, Mac, or Linux machine.
- Copy to the root directory of your tablet internal storage and rename to update.zip. For instance, if you downloaded update of Kobo Arc 10HD the filename should be tls-update-ota932.zip. You need to rename that to update.zip
- as mentioned already, the renamed file should be in the root of your tablet internal storage, i.e. /sdcard/
- Now turn off your Kobo Arc and wait a few seconds
- Turn it back on to restart, then wait patiently while the update is installed on your Kobo Arc tablet.
