Samsung has updated its Galaxy Wearable app with a redesigned user interface for improved navigation and user experience. The most significant change is the replacement of the side hamburger menu with a floating device button at the bottom of the screen. This button provides quick access to a list of connected devices, recognizing users' increased switching between devices like Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Watch, and Galaxy Ring.
The update also features a larger watch face preview when viewing a connected Galaxy Watch. The grid of options below the preview has been condensed into a single line to accommodate this change. The watch face library also has a new button for managing customized faces. This update simplifies navigation and enhances the overall user experience.
These changes come as a welcome improvement, as the app hadn't seen significant updates since before Samsung adopted Wear OS for its smartwatches. For more on Samsung, check out their latest design changes, explore tips to extend Android battery life, or learn about updates on other tech products.
