Gemini Summarizes Google Drive Folders
Google Drive now leverages Gemini AI to summarize folder contents directly within the web app. This feature helps users quickly understand the contents of large folders without manually opening them. By right-clicking a folder and selecting "Summarize this folder," or by dragging the folder into the Gemini side panel, users can access a concise summary of the folder's contents.
Gemini accurately identifies various file types, including PDFs, text documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and images, providing a quick overview of the information within. The AI can even analyze images, identifying logos and branding within the pictures.
