Google Photos' web interface now features "Collections," replacing the former "Library" tab. This update streamlines access to various photo categories like Albums, Documents, People & pets, Places, Videos, and Recently added.
The side panel has also been reorganized. "Explore" has been removed, and "Sharing" is now "Updates," mirroring the mobile app's activity feed design. This feed displays updates on shared albums, conversations, partner sharing, memories, and storage.
This redesigned interface, while busier, offers quicker access to different sections, including Archive, Locked Folder, and Trash. It leverages the ample desktop space effectively.
