iOS 18.2 Arrives with New Features

iOS 18.2 is now available for iPhones compatible with iOS 18. This update introduces significant enhancements, including new Apple Intelligence features, Camera Control improvements for iPhone 16 users, a redesigned Mail app, and more. Apple Intelligence features are limited to iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and all iPhone 16 models. Check for the update in Settings > General > Software Update.

  • Apple Intelligence: Genmoji creates custom emojis directly from the keyboard. Image Playground lets you generate images from your photos and descriptions. ChatGPT integration allows access via Siri or Writing Tools.

  • Additional Updates: Voice Memos layered recording, permanent Lock Screen volume slider, deletable default apps, default app settings for Messaging and Calling, "Type to Siri" widget, volume limit control, Podcasts favorite categories, iPhone Mirroring while using hotspot, Fitness Shortcuts actions, natural language search in Apple Music and Apple TV, pre-market price quotes in Stocks, and bug fixes.
