Lenovo Legion Go S: A Budget-Friendly Gaming Handheld
Following the successful releases of the Steam Deck, Asus ROG Ally, and Lenovo Legion Go, Lenovo is preparing to launch a new budget-friendly gaming handheld called the Legion Go S. Leaked renders reveal a design similar to the Asus ROG Ally, suggesting a return to a more basic form factor.
Unlike its predecessor, the Legion Go S appears to have done away with detachable sticks, a kickstand, and a trackpad. However, it seems to incorporate a nub on the right-hand side for mouse control. This design shift indicates Lenovo's focus on affordability, potentially positioning the Legion Go S as a more accessible alternative to the higher-end Legion Go and ROG Ally X. While the Legion Go S is expected to be less powerful than its predecessors, it still promises to deliver a portable PC gaming experience. More details about the device are anticipated at CES 2025.
