One UI 7: Samsung's Android 15 Update Redefines User Experience
Redesigned Interface and Navigation
One UI 7 introduces a vertical app drawer for quicker scrolling and a redesigned Recents page for easier multitasking. The homescreen now features larger app folders for improved organization. iOS 18 also focuses on user experience.
Enhanced Customization
Personalization is key in One UI 7. Users can customize app icons and widgets, adding or removing names and adjusting sizes. Dynamic features like the Now Bar and Live Notifications provide quick access to information and controls. Similar customization options are available in macOS Sequoia.
Improved Camera and System Features
The camera app receives a simplified design for easier navigation. The Clock app now supports grouped alarms for better management. A new charging animation and redesigned battery icon enhance the visual experience.
Advanced Battery Management
One UI 7 expands battery protection options, allowing users to limit charging at various intervals (80%, 85%, 90%, or 95%) to extend battery life. Xiaomi focuses on software polish as well.
