OnePlus Watch 3 and 3 Pro: Leaked Health Features and Imminent Launch

The upcoming OnePlus Watch 3 is set to introduce advanced health features, including ECG monitoring and wrist temperature measurement, according to recent leaks from an OHealth app update. A "60-second checkup" will assess key health metrics like heart rate, blood oxygen, and sleep patterns. The app also includes new "Health Insights" and "Health Journey" features to track health data trends.

A "Pro" model, the OnePlus Watch 3 Pro, has also been revealed, boasting a significantly larger battery than the OnePlus Watch 2. This suggests battery life may be a key differentiator between the two models. The inclusion of ECG functionality aligns the OnePlus Watch with competitors like the Apple Watch.

While the OnePlus Watch 2 offered a basic set of health tracking tools, the Watch 3 expands these capabilities considerably. The addition of wrist temperature monitoring, similar to the Pixel Watch, provides further insight into users' health. The "60-second checkup" offers a quick and comprehensive overview of various health indicators.

The OHealth app update also confirms support for both the OnePlus Watch 3 and the Watch 3 Pro. The Pro model's larger battery, as revealed by an FCC listing, hints at extended usage time. The OnePlus Watch 2 launched in March 2024, suggesting the Watch 3's release is imminent. For more on OnePlus devices, check out the OnePlus 13R.
