Oura Ring's Symptom Radar Predicts Illness
Oura is fully launching Symptom Radar for its Ring 3 and 4. This feature analyzes user data like skin temperature, respiratory rate, and resting heart rate to detect potential illness. The app notifies users with "No signs," "Minor signs," or "Major signs" of strain, helping them decide whether to rest or continue activities. Symptom Radar considers individual demographics and past reactions to similar indicators. One UI 7 Beta also focuses on user experience.
The Readiness Score and Symptom Radar function independently, meaning users could be getting sick even with a high readiness score. This feature is enabled by default for active members and is rolling out now. For more on wearable tech, see Best iPhone Magnetic Wireless Chargers. Oura's focus on user data aligns with trends in AI health monitoring, as discussed in Humane Unveils CosmOS.
