Pixel Recorder to Get "Clear Voice" Noise Reduction
Google is developing a "Clear voice" feature for its Pixel Recorder app. This feature aims to enhance audio clarity by reducing background noise during recordings, prioritizing human speech. It will utilize the phone's internal microphone and support mono audio only. External microphones and stereo recording will not be compatible with this feature. Current Status and Availability
The "Clear voice" feature is not yet live, even in the latest Pixel Recorder version (4.2.20241001.701169069). Server-side updates are likely required before it becomes available to users. The feature is referred to as "hdmic" internally. While we await this update, explore alternatives to Spotify Wrapped.
