The Redmi K80 is set to launch alongside the K80 Pro on November 27, 2024. Sporting a similar design to the Pro version, the K80 features a left-aligned circular camera array and a sleek, flat frame with minimal bezels.

It's anticipated to be thinner and lighter than its predecessor, the K70, with an optimized weight balance for improved handling. Both the K80 and K80 Pro will boast IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance.

The K80 will have a triple-camera system, including a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. A 20MP front camera will handle selfies. While full specifications are yet to be confirmed, it's speculated that the K80 might offer a 5,500mAh battery with 80W wired charging.

The K80 series will initially launch in China. A global release is expected next year, likely under the POCO F-series branding. For insights into other smartphone developments, check out Xiaomi's plans for in-house chips, Google Pixel's market share surge, and Apple's 5G modem development.
