Xiaomi YU7 Electric SUV: Extensive Road Testing and Upcoming Launch

Xiaomi's founder, Lei Jun, recently announced that the YU7 electric SUV is undergoing extensive road tests and is slated for launch between June and July of next year. This early announcement aims to facilitate more comprehensive testing and ensure high product quality.

The YU7's design closely resembles its predecessor, the SU7, featuring a closed front, similar headlight and front surround shapes, a through-type rear, and a roof spoiler. It measures 4999mm in length, 1996mm in width, and 1600mm in height, with a 3000mm wheelbase, and offers a five-seat configuration.

Performance-wise, the YU7 boasts a dual-motor system with a 220 kW front motor and a 288 kW rear motor.
