YouTube TV's base plan price is increasing by $10 to $82.99 monthly, effective January 13, 2025. Google cites rising content costs and investments in service quality as the reason for the price hike.
This marks the latest in a series of price increases since YouTube TV's launch in 2017 at $35 per month. The previous increase was in April 2023, when the price rose to $72.99.
Google emphasizes its commitment to features like unlimited DVR storage and multiview, along with a broad range of content and on-demand options. The new price will apply to the first billing cycle on or after January 13, 2025, with trial and promotional pricing remaining unchanged.
