Apple Fitness+ Boosts Content for 2025

Starting January 6, 2025, Apple Fitness+ introduces new workout programs and features. The updated service includes a three-week progressive strength training program designed for increasing weights as you gain strength. The program focuses on Progressive Overload, Time Under Tension, and Dynamic Power.

Capitalizing on the pickleball craze, Fitness+ adds strength, endurance, and agility training specific to the sport, led by champion Catherine Parenteau. Yoga enthusiasts can benefit from new "Peak Poses" sessions, focusing on individual poses like private instruction. Beginners can explore breath meditation with five new 10-minute guided meditations.

Apple Watch users gain eight new Time to Walk episodes, starting with Adam Scott on January 13, coinciding with the second season of Severance. Fitness+ continues its Artist Spotlight music series and features guest instructors like choreographer Alex Wong.

A new collaboration with Strava enhances integration. Sharing Fitness+ workouts on Strava provides detailed metrics for the Strava community. Strava subscribers get three free months of Fitness+, and Strava athletes will appear as guest trainers on Fitness+ throughout the year. This partnership may signal Apple's growing interest in fitness tracking, similar to potential health features rumored for the AirPods Pro 3.

While Apple continues to improve its services, it's worth noting the increasing storage demands of features like Apple Intelligence, which has recently grown to 7GB, as reported in this article.
