The Google Home app is introducing a double-tap quick seek feature for navigating camera history. This enhancement allows users to move forward or backward through recordings with greater ease and precision. Previously, users had to manually slide the scrubber, which was less efficient. This improvement aligns with Google's focus on enhancing user productivity.

How It Works

• Double-tap on the right side to skip forward 10 seconds.
• Double-tap on the left side to rewind 10 seconds.
• Pinch in/out to zoom.

Availability

This feature is currently rolling out to users in the Public Preview program. It's not yet widely available on all Android and iOS devices. This update follows other recent improvements to the Google Home app, such as enhanced features and user experience and new functionalities like battery health indicators.
