India's Competition Commission (CCI) rejected Apple's appeal to halt an investigation concluding Apple violated competition laws. The case, initiated in 2021, saw the CCI recall initial reports after Apple alleged the disclosure of commercial secrets. Apple claimed the complainant, Together We Fight Society (TWFS), failed to destroy these reports, but the CCI dismissed Apple's request for action against TWFS.

The CCI's investigation found Apple abused its dominant iOS app store position, harming developers, users, and payment processors. Apple, however, argues it holds a minor share in India's Android-dominated market. The CCI has requested Apple's financial statements for 2021-2024 to determine potential penalties. Senior officials will review the report before issuing a final ruling.
