Apple to Integrate Google Gemini in iOS, But Not Until Next Year

Apple has integrated ChatGPT into iOS 18.2, expected to release next week. However, integration with Google's Gemini AI, while desired by Apple, is delayed until next year, according to industry insider Mark Gurman. This might coincide with iOS 18.4 or even later during the iOS 19 cycle.

This delay, potentially linked to Apple's reported postponement of several iOS 19 features, could push Gemini integration beyond the initial iOS 19.0 release. In the meantime, a standalone Gemini app is available on the App Store for iOS users.
