Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Receives Android 15 Beta with Nothing OS 3.0
The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus is now part of the Android 15 beta program with Nothing OS 3.0, joining the Phone (2a), Phone (2), and CMF Phone 1. This budget-friendly device's inclusion in the beta offers users a chance to experience the latest features.
Key Features of Nothing OS 3.0

- Lock Screen Customization: Personalize your lock screen with new clock faces, expanded widget space, and a dedicated customization page.
- Smart Drawer: AI-powered app categorization and the ability to pin favorite apps to the top.
- Quick Settings Redesign: Improved editing experience and enhanced widget library design.
- Camera Enhancements: Faster launch speed, reduced HDR processing time, smoother UI, and improved zoom slider.
- Movable Pop-Up View: Multitask efficiently with a resizable and pinnable pop-up view for notifications and information.
- Other Improvements: AI-powered app prioritization, auto-archive for storage management, partial screen sharing, updated setup wizard, predictive back animations, and new fingerprint/charging animations.
The update is available via an APK download with instructions provided by Nothing. A rollback method is also available for reverting to Android 14.
