Redmi, Xiaomi's sub-brand, is launching the K80 series, the K80 and K80 Pro, in China on November 27th. These phones aim to provide flagship-level specs at competitive prices, following the success of the K70 series. Similar to other competitive strategies, Redmi is positioning the K series as its premium offering, bridging the gap to Xiaomi's top-tier phones.

Both models boast 2K AMOLED displays by TCL Huaxing, with reduced power consumption, 1800 nits peak brightness, and eye health features like DC Dimming and AON Intelligent Eye Protection.

The K80 Pro features Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with Oryon cores and Redmi's D1 graphics chip. The K80 is expected to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Gaming peripherals enhance performance, but these phones prioritize built-in power.
