Samsung to Supersize Foldable Displays in 2025

Samsung is reportedly planning larger displays for its 2025 foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7. This follows the somewhat underwhelming releases of the Fold 6 and Flip 6, which offered minimal changes from previous generations. Folding iPhone: Flip or Fold in 2026?

Analyst Ross Young reports that the Fold 7 will likely adopt the display sizes of the special edition Fold released in October. This means a 6.5-inch outer display and an 8-inch inner display, a half-inch increase over the Fold 6. There were previous rumors of two Fold 7 models, but it's unclear if that's still the case.
