Standalone Google Tasks Website Launched

Google has launched a standalone website for its task management service, Google Tasks. This new site offers a dedicated space for managing tasks, separate from Google Calendar.

Previously, users could access Google Tasks through a direct link within Google Calendar or via the Workspace sidebar in other Google apps. Now, users can visit tasks.google.com for a dedicated Tasks experience.

• Identical interface to the fullscreen Tasks view in Google Calendar.
• Lists displayed as rearrangeable cards.
• Navigation drawer for switching between All Tasks and Starred.
• Options to hide individual lists and create new ones.
• Automatic dark theme based on device settings.

This standalone website complements existing access points for Google Tasks, such as the dedicated mobile app and the integrated Calendar experience on Android.
