Send and Receive iMessages on Your Windows PC

Tired of typing long messages on your iPhone's small screen? Integrate your iPhone with your Windows 11 PC using Microsoft Phone Link or Intel Unison to seamlessly send, receive, and sync iMessages.

Option 1: Microsoft Phone Link

  1. Prepare Your Devices: Ensure your iPhone runs iOS 14 or higher, enable Bluetooth, and update Windows 11 and the Phone Link app.
  2. Launch and Pair: Open Phone Link, select iPhone, scan the QR code with your iPhone's camera, and install the Link to Windows app. Follow the prompts to pair your devices.
  3. Sync Notifications: Allow notification access on your iPhone and enable Show Notifications, Sync Contacts, and Share System Notifications in Bluetooth settings.
  4. Access and Send Messages: Open Phone Link on your PC, click the Messages tab, and start texting. You can also compose new messages.

Option 2: Intel Unison

  1. Install and Launch: Install Intel Unison from the Microsoft Store and launch the app.
  2. Pair Your Devices: Scan the QR code with your iPhone, install the Unison app, grant necessary permissions (contacts, photos, network, Bluetooth), and scan the QR code again.
  3. Send and Receive Messages: Open Unison on your PC, click Send Messages, select a contact, and type your message. Incoming messages will appear in the Unison app.

Important Considerations

  • Requires Windows 11.
  • Intel Unison is optimized for newer Evo laptops but may work on older PCs.
  • Limited iMessage features (no reactions or older thread syncing).
